EXPERIENCED short order cook, cashier and dishwasher needed in Woodland Hills area fast food establishment.
Cooks: Responsibilities include prepare and cook to order foods requiring short preparation time. Reads food order or receives verbal instructions on food orders required by the customer, and prepares and cooks food according to instructions. Assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served. Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods. Perform proper closing duties including storing food items correctly and properly cleaning kitchen and work areas.
Cashiers: Responsibilities include greeting customers and taking food orders, properly use register computer, handling money, making correct change, answering phone, taking to-go and delivery orders over phone. Must keep register area and dining room area clean -- sweep, wipe down dining areas, keeping supplies stocked at all times. Perform opening and closing duties correctly.
Dishwashers: Responsibilities include washing dishes and trays, sweeping, mopping, and overall, keeping everything clean. Must have a good understanding of cleaning and sanitation in a restaurant environment.
All positions:
? Ability to stand & walk for up to 8-hour shifts.
? Flexible work schedule, including weekends.
? Depending on shifts responsible to open or close store properly and assist others in the kitchen.
? Looking for a team player with the ability to remain calm and work well under pressure.
? Bilingual a plus.
? Must know HACCP.
? Must have food handler certification. (Servsafe)
? Knowledge of safe food handling procedures and food temperature.
