The Digital Media Strategy Supervisor develops objectives and strategies on assigned account(s), then oversees the implementation of the non-broadcast media buys, and provides stewardship and analysis for all media. This person serves as a primary communications liaison between the client and/or partner agency and our company, and ensures that all projects are completed and executed to the client's expectations. He/She strives to provide the highest quality of work in the quickest, smartest, most cost-effective manner.
Specific Duties
-Leading and monitoring day-to-day activities relating to assigned account(s)
-Development and/or supervision of media plans and implementation
-Training, supervising, and managing the development of junior team members
-Evaluating project requests and determining how to most effectively proceed in order to meet client needs and deadlines
-Negotiating and/or overseeing the negotiation of rates and added value opportunities to ensure client receives most advantageous package
-Writing and presenting media plans and ongoing campaign analyses to the clients
-Serving as a primary liaison in agency in communicating the client's needs and fostering a sense of teamwork within the agency
-Reviewing and approving invoice drafts for media, out-of-pocket expenses, and/or labor (if applicable), making certain they adhere to the approved budget
-Ensuring invoices are forwarded to the client within the agreed upon timeline and bills are reconciled in a timely matter
-Maintaining contact and building relationships with sales representatives
The Ideal Candidate:
-A minimum of 4-5 years of media agency experience, strong digital media planning a must
-Thorough understanding of direct marketing and digital media planning and execution
-Knowledge of and experience working in multiple media channels
-Excellent mathematical and analytic ability
-Ability to professionally represent the agency at client meetings and on conference calls
-Demonstrated ability to contribute to media strategies
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
-Strong interpersonal skills that encourage team cooperation, promote enthusiasm, and motivate strategic thinking
-Ability to manage, train, and delegate effectively
-Excellent listening and organizational skills
-Computer proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and Power Point
-Advanced ability to present and sell agency recommendations
-Proficiency with media research tools
-A fire in the belly and desire to learn and grow
