Entry Level Data Center Technician 3rd Shift (Downtown Los Angeles)

More infoWe are an Internet Web Hosting company located in Downtown Los Angeles, looking for support staff that will provide technical support for issues via our help desk ticketing system, and assists all customers through voice, live chat or email methods of communication. The ideal candidate should be able to install, configure and maintain Windows & Linux based servers and services, as well as configure Cisco, Foundry and Juniper networking equipment.

Requirements:
Ability to work in a team and take directions from supervisors
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Good attention to detail in a complex and ever-changing and fast paced environment
- Understanding of basic network concepts
- Understanding of computer hardware including installation, troubleshooting and maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot computer software and hardware issues including Windows Server, Linux
- Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs
- VMware experience a plus
- 3rd shift hours - 9pm - 6am

***Fluent in Mandarin Chinese a BIG plus
