West Los Angeles firm is hiring.? We are look for an excellent and experienced litigation assistant/?paralegal for a busy desk.?

Requirements:

? A minimum of 5 years experience working in a law firm with stable job history;
? Well organized, detail oriented, a multi-tasker, have excellent spelling, grammar and proofreading skills; and
? Efficient with Microsoft Word with knowledge of billing protocol, typing speed of 70 wpm;
? Mac Experience Strongly Preferred - this is a Mac Office

Familiar and Proficient with:

? All filing and service requirements for Superior Court, Bankruptcy Court and Small Claims Court;
? Preparation of Initial Pleadings, including Summons and Complaints (causes of action) and Civil Case Cover Sheets;
? Preparation of Discovery Requests and Responses to Opposing Parties;
? Case Management statements;
? Jury Instructions;
? Trial notebooks;
? Motions in limine; and
? Exhibit and witness lists.?

Please be a self-starter, be proactive, be able to complete tasks with a minimum of supervision and have meticulous follow-up skills.? We are searching for someone who wants to be part of a team.?
