The RN II will, under the general supervision, serve as a registered nurse, conduct patient assessments, participate in the development of the plan of care, implement and evaluate care according to patient specific age and/or developmental needs in the Pulmonary sleep Lab. Collaborates with other health care team members in the delivery of care. Assist in the CF clinic caring for the higher acuity patients, cross covering in all areas requiring RN coverage for the Pulmonary Division within scope of practice. Performs all routine sleep testing on patients. including patient hook up and recognition of sleep stages and events. Performs activities necessary for the maintenance of department and its equipment and supplies used for patient sleep testing. Collaborates with other health care team members in the delivery of care. Will be able to quailify within 12 months for A-step modules for sleep accreditation and sit for RPSGT within 24 months of hire.
Minimum Requirements: 2-3 years of acute pediatric experience required. Bi-Lingual preferred but not required. CA RN license, AHA CPR and PALS.
