A small mainline Protestant church in Northridge is looking for a customer-service oriented individual as a permanent, part-time office administrator/bookkeeper. Duties include handling email, church correspondence, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, phones, scheduling, and office supply purchasing. This person also assists the pastor with orders of worship, prayer requests, and a variety of other office duties.
The position requires a weekday schedule of 18-hours a week, with a flexible breakdown (e.g., three days a week for 6-hour days, four days a week for 4.25 hours, and so on). One 90-minute evening meeting per month is required.
Qualifications

- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and QuickBooks.
- Ability to complete tasks independently while also working with various individuals and teams.
