More infoGarber Academics, a comprehensive educational support company dedicated to providing superior one-on-one instruction, is currently seeking EXPERIENCED tutors to work with students in their homes. The tutor will provide test preparation (SAT/ACT/ISEE) and/or academic support for students in middle and high school. A Bachelor's Degree and prior teaching experience is required of all tutor candidates. Currently, we are looking for tutors who are skilled in SAT level LITERATURE, US HISTORY, ADVANCED MATH (Algebra II, Calculus), SCIENCES (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) and SPANISH. Applicants will be required to take relevant SAT/ACT tests as part of application procedure. Flexible hours.

Tutors are required be available (1) at least one weekday afternoon / evening; (2) at least one day of the weekend; (3) and one morning per month for scheduled staff meetings. Hours typically range from 3-20 hours per week, but we do not guarantee a minimum number of hours. Applicants must have access to reliable transportation.

QUALIFICATIONS
Undergraduate college degree.
Prior teaching/tutoring experience.
Able to commit through Dec 31, 2012
