Litigation Legal Secretary (Downtown LA)

- Resume must show a minimum of 2-4 consecutive and verifiable years of litigation secretary experience.
- Be organized and work well under pressure (Case workload is medium, but could get hectic at times)
- Be able to prioritize tasks
- Be one step ahead of attorney, as opposed to waiting for assignments
- Thorough knowledge of pleading filing requirements and rules in State and Federal courts in California is mandatory.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Must have experience with E-Fillings.
- Strong skills in MS Word, Outlook, and iManage.
- Must be extremely professional, friendly, and upbeat.
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat and Legal Solutions a plus.
- A degree is preferred.
- Have knowledge in legal calendaring and deadlines
- Have good judgment and be amenable to input
- Work independently with little supervision
- Have an eye for spotting mistakes and correcting them.
