The Retoucher works within a team that produces all images used in sales events including women's apparel, accessories, and jewelry.
Technical knowledge of color profiles, color conversions, and screen calibration software is of utmost importance to success in this position. Your responsibilities will include maintaining production of a high volume of images under very tight deadlines, partnering with the shoot production and merchandising teams, utilizing appropriate digital asset management techniques, from receiving images from the studio up to when the sale goes live, taking creative direction and applying it to images in order to achieve the best possible results for final web images, and communicating with other teams in order to proactively address discrepancies and solve issues. The position is located in Santa Monica, CA in our warehouse/studio.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
? Retouch assigned digital images to client and our studio's standards. Communicate with Digital Manager to ensure compliance with standards.
? Prepare images for client delivery.
? Meet deadlines.
? Responsible to keep abreast with industry and software changes and updates. Continually develop retouching skills.
? Proactively assist in problem solving within team and across department.
? Assist other areas as needed
REQUIREMENTS
Education/Training:
? Minimum of two year college degree; Bachelor's degree in related field a plus
? Minimum of three years in color correction, retouching and all areas of digital imaging production
Qualifications:
? Expert working knowledge of Photoshop, Layers/Sets, masks, paths, color correction tools, actions, batch processing.
? Strong working knowledge of Adobe suite
? Working knowledge of Capture One, Lightroom a plus
? Strong knowledge of Macintosh based equipment within a network environment
? Strong written and oral communication skills to interact on a professional level
? Strong teamwork skills
? Working knowledge of office software such as Word, Excel, Filemaker Pro, FTP.
? Ability to make sound decisions with limited information; ability to work independently in a team environment
? Background in agency and/or high profile account is a plus
