We have an opportunity for: Technical Designers
LA-based International Retailer and Manufacturer has immediate Freelance and Fulltime opportunities for Technical Designers. This company is looking for candidates who have experience in Tops, Bottoms, Knits or Wovens. This position is responsible for overseeing spec and measuring, creating original tech packs, attending fittings with production partners and troubleshooting to resolve issues as needed.
Requirements:
? Minimum 5 years of experience in a vertical retail environment
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills to discuss concepts, designs and innovations with a cross-functional team
? Knowledge of patternmaking is a huge plus
? Ability to develop and maintain fit and protocol standards
? Ability to identify priorities and resolve issues as they arise
? Advanced proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Excel; PLM experience strongly preferred
