RESPONSIBILITIES:

Management and coordination of installations and de-installations with gallery Director

Responsible for handling, crating packing, and transportation of artwork

Liaison with transportation companies, hardware and other manufacturers for components of artwork

Work directly with artists on site-specific installations

Assistance with various aspects of gallery operations as required by gallery Director

General Cleaning of Artworks and Premises

Repairs and Maintenance

REQUIRED SKILLS:

A minimum of five years of experience at an art gallery or museum

Must be experienced and conscientious about handling artwork of a variety of media

Degree in the arts required (MFA preferred)

Proficient in Mac computer programs

Professional appearance and demeanor

Strong organizational and delegating skills are a must

Must have a vehicle and current California driver's license in good standing and live within 7 miles from the gallery

Salary commensurate with experience
