More infoA leading online luxury goods retailer performing over $15 million in 2011 revenues and projecting over $20 million in 2012, is currently seeking a Writer/ Editor to join its expanding team and help our marketing department. This individual will work directly with our company's President, Chief Technology Officer, Senior Vice President of Marketing & Merchandising.

This online Luxury Retailer is rapidly expanding business (revenues up 250% in 3 years) operating in a $500 million market, and currently owns the leading website for our main brands in the U.S., U.K., and Canada--with over 1 million unique annual users. The motivated, successful candidate hired for this position will researching topics online, writing, editing, and publishing content on our website and social media channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Research topics online specific to our industry
*Manage our team of writers, editing their content and ensuring relevancy
*Ensure that all content is optimized, relevant, error-free and grammatically correct
*Write and edit luxury-based articles
*Basic content management experience; familiarity with WordPress a plus
*Organized, positive, can-do attitude
*Thrives in demanding, deadline-driven environment

REQUIREMENTS:

Professional:

* 1-2 years of editorial experience, either print or web
* B.A. in Journalism, English or related field
* Excellent grammar, punctuation, spelling, and writing style.
* Experience or strong interest in the luxury brand space

Educational & Basic:

*College degree from a top-50 ranked 4-year U.S. university (The current team includes multiple University of Southern California, UCLA, Stanford, & Cal 4-year grads)
*GPA of 3.0 or above (will be verified)
*Advanced computer & technology proficiency (Windows, Excel, and internet)
*Excellent written and oral communication skills, energy, and positive attitude
*Excellent written and verbal skills.
