Description of position:

Food Truck Cashier opportunity for an fun / energetic, person with a super friendly personality and a valid CA driver's license with a clean driving record. This sales and operations associate will take orders, assist in food preparation, process credit/cash transactions, balance daily sales & deposit cash on a nightly basis.

This position will begin training in late July and will work alongside our Head Chef / Manager. Hours of the position vary and will include some irregular hours. Pay rate rate will be determined based off experience. We are looking for someone with who is outgoing and has the ability to put smiles on people's faces.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Assist cook with preparing menu items according to standards.
Assemble and load all food and supplies for food truck functions for the scheduled locations.
Attract customers to the Food Truck through Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Four Square, Yelp, etc.) and in-person.
Take orders for meals & process credit/cash transactions.
Balance daily sales & deposit cash in bank nightly.
Serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner; resolve customer concerns & represents company in a courteous & friendly manner in all customer interactions.
Properly clean & maintain Food Truck after service.
Ability to work safely with large volume culinary equipment including but not limited to grill, oven, microwave, generator and propane tanks.
Regular, timely attendance to meet customer needs in an efficient and effective manner.

Skills/Requirements:

Energetic self-starter who is eager to learn with excellent customer relations skills, proactive, outgoing, upbeat and positive attitude.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize while under pressure.
Ability to use POS (order taking and fulfilling system)
Ability to manage credit card and cash transactions and balance to $5 variance on a daily basis.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including irregular hours, nights, and weekends.
Valid CA drivers' license and clean DMV record.
Adheres to CA Department of Health guidelines (Food Handler's Card a plus)
