Position is available IMMEDIATELY. Must be able to start on Tuesday August 21, 2012.
General Practice Law firm of 3-5 attorneys requires a regular bookkeeper & assistant to assist with the following:
Booking & Billing Matters
1. Monthly bank reconciliations
2. Enter daily expenses, checks, reimbursements
3. Bank deposits
4. Issue out form billing letters & client billing
5. Download attorney time from ebillity and/or abacus
6. Print monthly income & expense summary
7. Pay out fee splits and shares, 1099s
8. Scan & organize receipts
Intake and legal assistant matters
1. Assist with Mandarin, Chinese, or Cantonese client calls or intakes
2. Assist with scheduling of appointments of only Mandarin, Chinese, and Cantonese callers on Outlook calendar
3. Assist with light in-house Chinese translations (larger documents are sent to translation companies)
4. Assist with scanning, copies, or miscellaneous matters as needed or when there is overflow.
Requirements:
1. Must have at least 2 years experience with Quickbooks.
2. Must have working knowledge an proficiency in Mandarin/Chinese -- writing and verbal
3. Must type over 50 wpm
4. Must know Word, Outlook, Excel
5. Must have very professional phone skills
6. Must have a professional appearance
7. Must have a strong work ethic and sense of responsibility
8. Must be punctual
9. Must be able to meet deadlines
10. Must be detailed oriented and a problem solve
11. Must be able to work full-time, from 8:45 -- 5pm/4:45pm daily
12. Must have solid communications skills
Will conduct Interviews on Sunday from 12pm to 4pm. Will interview on Monday by appointment.
