Job Title: Satisfaction Survey Interviewer (fluent in Spanish and English)

Conduct 15-minute, structured interviews with older adults in adult day care centers and nursing homes. Interviewees will have a range of physical and cognitive disabilities.

Job Timeline & Location:

? Independent contract work (evolving ideally into intermittent work over several years).
? Required two-day to three-day paid training in San Diego, October 8-10.
? Must be available to conduct interviews in San Francisco, Sacramento, Los Angeles, San Diego, New York, and/or El Paso, Texas anytime during October 11 through November 16.
? Must be available full-time between 8:30 am to 5:00 pm during assignments.

Job Requirements:

? Read and speak fluent Spanish and English
? Write legibly and record responses accurately
? Concern and sensitivity to issues of disability and communication problems
? Ability to develop a professional relationship with staff and residents
? Adhere to a standard dress code
? Conduct interviews in an atmosphere of privacy
? Maintain confidentiality of data
? Being responsible and timely
? Ability to work independently
? Ability to be unbiased and follow structured interview protocols
? Having own transportation, with valid Driver's License and insurance

Applicants will be required to submit references and pass a criminal background check.

Hiring is contingent upon successful completion of the two-day to three-day training (must demonstrate required interviewing skills and accurate recording of responses). Continued assignment is contingent upon maintaining quality interviewing standards.

Desired Qualifications:

Familiarity with older adults, nursing homes, assisted living, or adult day care centers ideal but not required. Interviewing experience is also desirable but not necessary.

Compensation:

$20/hr, mileage reimbursement at $.50/mi., reasonable travel expenses (E.g., lodging, meals), paid training, $10/hr travel time reimbursement.
