In this role, you will be responsible for leading the efforts on the following:
? Analyze the organization's revenue/expense budget variances.
? Assist co-workers and other departments with budget needs and responsibilities.
? Assist the organization's departments in answering questions regarding their area of responsibility.
? Assist with training department staff.
? Generate variance reports and distribute to the managers and directors via emails.
? Prepare the organization's inventory journal entries.
? Prepare standard and general journal entries.
? Prepare the operations commentary for presentation for the board report.
? Provide backup assistance during staff absences.
? Reconciliation of flexible spending account.
? Reconciliation of operating bank account and other general ledger accounts.
Qualifications:
* Strong knowledge in Financial Accounting is required
* Excellent leadership and communication skills (both verbal and written)
* Detail oriented, with the upmost discipline to meet deadlines
* Highly driven and able to learn quickly
* Bachelor Degree in a relevant field of study
