We are a well established successful catering company with a small 24 seat chef-driven contemporary-casual restaurant in Culver City. We are looking to recruit a passionate, experienced and motivated Line Cook who has 3 -- 5 years fine dining experience , who has also worked in an open kitchen.
He/she must possess excellent communication with Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef and take direction well; have excellent organizational skills and be able to multi-task and lead by example. This is a hands-on position requiring fast paced kitchen skills and overall knowledge of restaurant operations.

Responsibilities:
? Prepare and present our food in accordance with the Company and the Chef's standards and cost.
? Maintain a positive, safe and clean kitchen
? Ensures consistency, portioning & freshness of all food
? Manages day to day sanitation controls
? Effectively manage time while meeting or exceeding productivity standards.
Requirements:
? A great attitude with a willingness to work hard and a compulsion to succeed.
? Candidates will possess humility, respect, integrity and a sense of urgency.
? Food Protection Manager Certificate
? Perform any other duties as requested by the Chef or General Manager or Owner.
? Must work weekends. Experience in all stations on the line (preparation of breakfast, lunch, dinner, private functions)
? Ability to follow directions and work well under pressure while not sacrificing quality of consistency.
? Professional behavior, even temperament and ability to work hard for long periods of time.
? Always keeping and maintaining work area clean, organized and sanitized.
? Flexible schedule required with punctual attendance
? Provide professional references.
