We Are EMF Insurance Agency, Inc., an independent brokerage. We specialize in guiding our clients to find and get enrolled in the most appropriate and affordable Individual Health & Life Insurance plans, Group Health & Life Insurance plans, and Global Health & Travel Insurance plans to fit their lifestyle and budget. Our clients become insured individuals, families, and groups who are secure and educated about their coverage.

We aim to be a "green company". We are web-based to reduce the use of paper and minimize the ecological footprint of our agency.

We are a growing agency and have been a home-based business since 2006. We have a large existing client base and we receive a consistent flow of new leads weekly. Our agents keep in touch daily and we gather for weekly meetings - keeping each agent up-to-date on current market trends, strategies, client cases, sales ideas, and more. We follow a strict mission to advocate for our clients within the law and encourage full disclosure on all applications and supplemental documents.

You Are a proactive individual with a team attitude and a knack for helping people find solutions. In this case that solution is mounting the often daunting task of getting enrolled in an individual/family health insurance plan and more. You are willing and open to being trained and mentored. You are computer savvy and you are comfortable working with people over the phone, Skype, and in person. Candidates with a current Life Agent insurance license and experience in insurance sales will be strongly considered. However, we will also consider those with no prior experience selling insurance. For the right candidate we can help you to get your insurance license and we will train you on the job.

*Part-Time position with potential to move to a Full Time Position quickly

Salary & Benefits are a competitive Hourly wage plus a contribution to health insurance coverage (when you become eligible) and quarterly bonus/incentive opportunities.

General Responsibilities:
-Guide and advise prospects towards buying California Individual & Family Health Insurance plans
-Follow-up on warm leads as needed for health insurance prospects and establish client relationships
-Demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills & strong organizational skills
-Can organize and prioritize multiple work projects & assignments
-Uses &/or develops applicable computer skills and operates a variety of Mac software and office equipment such as computers, printers, etc
-Learns, applies, believes in, and conducts himself/herself in the manner of the agency's customer service mission & philosophy
-Service existing client base of individual/family & group health insurance clients
-Provide friendly, honest, prompt, & accurate customer service. Service will include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claims submissions and billing clarifications
-Assist in the maintenance of the client relationship management system
-Answer phones, guide clients to appropriate resources, and allocate messages to fellow agents
