We are currently seeking a Production Engineer/Technical Designer who will work with project teams (including Project Managers, Production Manager and Production Staff) to develop technical drawings that will be used in the fabrication of exhibits and scenery. The designer's duties will include: determining proper material and fabrication approaches, taking field measurements and producing clear and complete designs that align with budget and time constraints.
Job Requirements:
? Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Architecture, Engineering or related field; or equivalent industry experience.
? Advanced knowledge of Solidworks with 3-5 years working experience.
? Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
? Experience with developing fully detailed fabrication or construction drawing packages.
? Experience in acrylic, wood, metals, and special materials applications to design.
? Experience in set construction and themed environments is a MUST.
? Ability to participate in multiple projects concurrently.
? Ability to work additional hours when necessary to meet project deadlines.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
? Must be detail-oriented and able to produce under tight deadlines.
