DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Supervise and evaluate Security Officers to ensure excellent customer service is delivered to the client:
-Coach, communicate and provide support to ensure Security Officers understand, and are in full compliance with post orders, company rules, regulations and policies, and all applicable laws;
-Ensure Security Officers on post are in complete and proper uniform;
-Review required reports, logs, and forms for accuracy;
-Implement corrective and/or disciplinary actions on the spot or in a timely manner;
-Maintain a positive, professional environment at each post.
Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction:
-Patrol and visit sites on a weekly and regular basis;
-Ensure coverage is adequate and the right personnel are on post;
-Assess and determine areas of service that may pose as potential problem, address actual problems on the spot;
-Assess post for any safety hazard and provide input on minimizing or eliminating hazards;
-Assist and provide support with start-ups and, stand on post as may be required to ensure customer satisfaction.
Act as a conduit between the field (client and staff) and the office;
-Assist and maintain regular communication with Operations Manager and Scheduler with regard to staffing and scheduling issues such as attendance, availability, restrictions, disciplinary issues, etc.;
-Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping of vehicles, equipment, personnel matters and related issues;
-Identify, train and develop potential high caliber officers for retention and promotion;
-Ensure all employee actions are properly documented and submitted to HR; and
-Perform administrative procedures as required.
REQUIREMENTS
-Valid BSIS Guard Card
-High School Diploma or completed GED (minimum), plus 2 years of college preferred; or a combination of educational and relevant experience
-At least 2 years experience in a supervisory capacity
-Good driving record
-Authorized to work in the US
-Pass a 10-year criminal background check
-Pass a pre-employment drug screen
SKILLS
-Knowledge of security operations and methods
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer literate
Ability to conduct impartial investigations
Flexible schedule, dependable with excellent time-management skills
