The position requires great customer service skills, must have a valid driver's license, to lift at least 100lbs, and basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply) with knowledge of how to use a calculator. Bilingual skills is preferred.
1. Set up a Recycling Center for operation
2. Open and close center according to hours of operation
3. Inspect recyclables for redemption value
4. Separate and weigh recyclables
5. Calculate & issue payment to customers
6. Complete daily transaction logs
7. Dump/bag recyclables
8. Keep center & surrounding area clean & free from clutter & debris
9. Work following safety polices according to company procedures
10. Position requires working outside/Driving
11. Perform general daily cleaning
12. Performs daily cleaning and maintenance of equipment and reports any problems or missing items
13. Yard attendant work includes lifting, loading/unloading, moving recycled material, driving of company trucks, sorting material, pick up and delivery of recyclable material.
