The successful candidate will be responsible for: Performing duties such as processing incoming and outgoing shipments of parts, materials and mail.

Position Duties
Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:

*Receives and processes all incoming materials and mail.
*Verifies with purchase order or packing list, check sizes, weighs, counts and checks for defects and damage, reports discrepancies, distributes to proper location within the plant.
*Inspects all incoming and outgoing materials utilizing visual inspection techniques.
*Wraps preserves and packs parts in boxes, cartons or crates utilizing packaging machines/equipment following specific customer requirements.
*Ensures that all parts are checked, labeled and tagged before shipment.
*Processes outgoing mail including pick-up, adding proper postage and follow-up on Registered mail deliveries.
*Handles UPS, parcel post truck, air shipments and government packaging.
*Loads and unloads trucks and ensures loads are secure to avoid damage in shipment. Operates company vehicles such as a forklift or company truck.
*Processes customer returns.
*Receives raw materials, inspects, identifies and stages per QC procedures.
*Maintains related materials, inspects, identifies and stage per QC procedures.
*Performs all tasks in a timely, safe and accurate manner to avoid delays in operations.
*Utilizes the mainframe computer system for inquiries.
*Uses printers to generate labels, pick lists and reports.
*Pulls, replenishes and fills orders from stock using picks or other information.
*Performs similar and incidental duties as required including rework.
*Immediately reports to management when not making job standards.

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. 3-6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Skills:
Language skills -- ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, shipping instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Mathematical skills -- ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ration, percentages and volume.

Reasoning ability -- ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed verbal or written instructions. Ability to deal with problems, involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tool or controls. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.

The employee must regularly lift up to 25 pounds.

Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
