More infoLooking for a caring, responsible and experienced person to provide personal care and assistance to an 84 year old, sweet, man with Alzheimer's Disease who is at home in Rancho Palos Verdes. My parents are kind, considerate people - mom just needs a hand with my father's personal/hygiene care, meal preparation and some help with light housekeeping (vacuuming/dusting, laundry), meal preparation and clean up and occasional errands. Monday-Friday with somewhat flexible hours during the day. Part to full time.

BONUS: Depending on the number of hours you work - your children may be eligible to attend award-winning Palos Verdes schools!

Must:
- Speak clear English / excellent communication skills
- Have at least 1 year, hands-on experience with people with Alzheimer's Disease
- Have 3 or more references with current phone numbers
- Have a valid California Driver's License
- Be non-smoking
- Have a clean criminal and driving record (we will do a check)
- Be strong - my dad is 6 foot tall, 210 lbs.
- Be willing to undergo criminal background check and possible drug test
- Have current doctor's note showing that you are in good health
- Have a cheerful, "Can-do" attitude
- Have a good sense of humor - my dad is VERY witty!

Prefer:
- Someone who is familiar with cooking traditional Filipino dishes and speaks Tagalog
