Executive Marketing Assistant Needed ASAP (Brentwood/Santa Monica)

More infoI need an exceptionally smart, resourceful, and business minded Executive Marketing Assistant and adviser who can literally start on Sunday, February 12th. Requires someone who understands branding & marketing and has amazing social skills, great style, an acerbic wit, and tremendous self confidence minus the attitude. Has to be able to step right in and handle much of the day to day planning and coordination for a suddenly very busy, highly visible and much in demand executive. Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision but is smart enough to know when to ask questions and seek guidance. Must be available to travel to a major pet industry trade show in early March for 4 days and the east coast for major investor presentations and meetings with senior TV and film executives.

Social media skills are also required as is proficiency in using Excel, Skype, Photoshop and other commonly used software programs. Must be able to work on PCs and Macs. Most importantly, you must have an incredible sense of humor and sense of perspective in order to be able to handle the pressure and entertainment industry. English MUST be your first language. a minimum of a college degree is required. Fluency in other languages helpful but not required. Living on the westside would be helpful.

I will make a decision by 12 noon on Sunday and candidate must be able to start later that day with a 2 hour overview of the position and immediate areas of responsibility.
