We are seeking an enthusiactic Martial Arts Instructor at the Cresecenta-Canada Family YMCA in La Canada.

Under the guidance of the Director, the Martial Arts Instructor is responsible for conducting safe, effective and enjoyable classes at the YCMA.

Position requires a friendly, enthusiastic and conscientious leader with excellent knowledge and skill in the areas of health and fitness and effective communication skills. The individual must possess a professional image and ability to provide excellent leadership, up-to-date instruction and high-energy motivation. The ability to work harmoniously with members, guests and staff is essential. The Martial Arts Instructor must set an excellent example of health and fitness and customer service.

? Must hold current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
? Must have a black belt in Karate or other Martial Art.
? A minimum of two years experience teaching Karate preferred.
? A minimum of one year experience teaching Karate to children required.
