Multi-media intern needed for production company (Santa Monica )

More infoWe are a small multi-media production company looking for an intern starting at 10-15 hours a week. We do a combination of still photography - mostly lifestyle and fitness - and video production. We are looking for someone who is extremely motivated, organized, dependable and eager to learn. Strong computer skills are essential. Ideally you will have some experience with photography or television production and absolutely must be interested in learning and gaining new skills. Experience in some of the following areas is preferred: Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, spreadsheets and database creation, and/or web research. Interest in yoga, surfing and healthy lifestyles will make this position more fun for you. You must have your own reliable car and insurance. You will be reimbursed for any mileage in your personal vehicle.

You will occasionally be asked to get coffee and run errands - mostly gear pickups and drop-offs - but primarily will be helping organize equipment, prep for shoots, help on shoot days, organize media, and log footage.

In exchange, we will teach you. Lighting (constant and strobe), shooting, audio, production, editing - we want you to learn and will focus on areas that are in line with your career goals.

This could eventually turn into a paid assistant gig for the right person.
