As the industry experts with over 400 government clients, we enjoy industry-wide name-recognition and excellent reputation for our high quality websites and excellent service. We have won hundreds of awards and enjoy a steady stream of inbound leads.
Major Activities
This is a remote sales position requiring working from a home office within the region. The salesperson is responsible for activities necessary to close the sale including: Review Request for Proposal (RFP) documentsAnalyze client needs and formulate a scope of workResponding to inbound sales leads on a timely basisAttend tradeshows and conferencesLogging all sales activities and client contactsManage contract and related paperworkThe marketing team will send out materials plus prepare proposals and quotes based upon the direction of the sales person.
In addition to inbound leads, the salesperson will be responsible for generating additional leads through various forms of prospecting.
Skills/Experience Required
This is an outside sales position that requires a high degree of autonomy. As such, it requires strong sales skill derived from previous experience and training. The major requirements and skills include: Understanding and articulating website requirementsMinimum three-years verifiable sales successDelivering effective sales presentations to groups and individualsAbility to travel up to 25%Tracking sales activity in company's lead tracking systemSkilled with MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power PointStrong communicator including solid telephone and writing skillsBA in Business or Marketing -- MBA PreferredPrevious experience selling to local and/or federal government is a plus.
Compensation
The compensation will include: Base salary plus commissionBonus based upon performanceMedical InsurancePaid vacation and holidaysAll travel expenses
