Coordinate architectural projects for a construction and development company, including responsibility for the preparation of detailed project feasibility studies; the conducting of liaison activities with brokers, lending institutions and governmental agencies so as to assist company in ensuring regulatory compliance and approvals, and necessary financing; the preparation of documentation in connection with all phases of project completion from concept development and specification through final submittal; the use of Autocad and other computer-based design software, as well as construction detailing tools; the conducting of consultations with structural engineers, mechanical engineers, lighting designers, code consultants and other project specialists so as to ensure project completion in accordance with specified requirements, schedules and best building practices; and the coordination of ongoing project activities with both clients and construction management personnel. Either U.S. or foreign Master's or equivalent degree in architecture, and 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation; or U.S. or foreign Bachelor's or equivalent degree in architecture, and 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation; Licensure by the California Architects Board is preferred but candidates currently under the ARE (Architect Registration Examination) are also accepted.
