More infoThe following duties for this seasonal position will include setting up, organizing and preparing for a nine or ten week day camp, ordering supplies, scheduling daily activities, preparing activities for camp, supervising staff and campers, supervising and organizing weekly field trips, handling parent concerns and complaints, and maintaining any needed paperwork. Pre-camp preparation begins April 2012 and camp operates June 18 - August 24. Salary $14.10 per hour. Qualifications: Management skills; interpersonal skills; problem solving skills; leadership skills in dealing with staff and children; teaching skills; and creativity. Education and experience: Management experience with youth and children summer camps; college units in recreation and/or teaching preferred; CPR certificaiton preferred. Experience running a summer camp preferred.
