PR / Marketing Internship at Shoe Accessories Startup - Paid

More infoA new shoe accessories start up is looking for PR / Marketing Intern.

The internship will be up to 3 times a week for a total of around 15 hours, paying $10 an hour. It could potentially turn into long term employment.

We're looking for someone who loves fashion, and particularly shoes, can think on their feet, is comfortable wearing many hats, is social media connected (pinterest, tumblr, polyvore), shows initiative, thrives in a fast paced environment while meeting all deadlines.

Who are you?

You have a personal interest in the various ways technology/social media are changing fashion. You read lifestyle/fashion's most influential publications / blogs on a daily basis

You are willing to pitch all media including traditional media, bloggers/vloggers/niche publishers as well as the business media

Comfortable working with celebrities, stylists and their representatives

Qualifications

Great communication and organizational skills, and attention to detail are a must

Capable of meeting and interacting with new people

Strong writing and editing skills

Strong understanding of blog culture and new media world

Familiarity with social media networks, such as Pinterest, Tumblr, Polyvore, Twitter, Instagram

Passion for fashion and shoes
