Summary of Position:

Works on fabrication, maintenance, and installation of welding projects. Other duties may include maintenance of welding equipment in shop facility.

Description of Duties:

? TIG welding: steel, stainless steel, aluminum
? MIG welding
? Sheet metal fabrication
? Spot welding:
? Use gas torch for welding, brazing, soldering and cutting
? Work with a variety of materials.
? Measure for dimensional requirements, squareness, flatness, etc., using appropriate tools such as calipers, squares, mics, height gage, and surface plate inspection
? Interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings and follow written and verbal instructions
? Apply appropriate finishing: grinding, sanding, deburring, cosmetics and functional
? Maintain tools and equipment

? Working hours: 6AM to 2:45PM. (Longer days might be required when we are busy).

Job Requirements:

? Minimum (4) years welding experience.
? General math skills.
? Knowledgeable of various welding processes, tools, and equipment.
? Ability to work long hours as needed.
? Able to lift 50-70lbs as needed.
? Able to maintain and stay on schedule.
