Growing bistro is in need of an experienced lead cook to run our kitchen. Must demonstrate proficient cooking skills and make all food items on menu. Menu is creative yet simple and consists of appx 35 food items. Lead cook will be responsible for running entire kitchen operation to include inventory and managing prep cooks. Lead cook will cook and prepare all menu items for plating and ensures food is of the highest quality for presentation. Lead cook reports to owner on kitchen operations and ensures health dept requirements are maintained at all times. Must be a team player and must be willing to do basic skills such as dishes and cleaning. Position is part time at 25+ hrs per week and will evolve into full time for right candidate with talent. Current food handlers certificate required and minimum of 3 years direct cooking experience prefered. Local candidates prefered and should have own transportation.
