Under the guidance of the Executive Vice President, Operations and Vice President, Culinary, the Operations Manager will provide support to our restaurants and home office Team Members.
Job Description:
* Manage the company Travel Program, Plan, set policy and administrate program company-wide * Administrate quarterly OST and GM meeting travel and logistical planning * Complete credit references. Follow up with vendor set up through IQ BackOffice * Update recipe file and send out new cards to restaurants. * Pull necessary reports, analyze and manage the menu change process * Prepare Price Increase spreadsheet that gives an overview of how the increase will impact sales * Manage the rollout of new menus from proofing, updating, to sending out the menu summary of changes * Prepare and administrate Seasonal, Chef Menus, and various other menus for all restaurants * Administrate Seasonal Promotions. Responsible for sending out packet all pertinent information regarding the promotion i.e. Menu, Menu Summary, FSI Drop Dates, and Table Tent/Poster pdf's. * Develop, create, compose and administrate Management News (internal weekly electronic format newsletter) and distribute weekly * Administrate the ordering and distribution of restaurant supplies such as: Guest Checks, Check Presenters, Recipe Cards, Menus, and Take out Delivery forms etc. Complete necessary P.O.s, etc * Note-take and collect material for distribution at Operations-related meetings: Operations Support Team Meetings, GM Meetings, Chef Meetings, etc. * Troubleshoot Guest Complaints and incidents. Write and send follow up letters * Administrate the guest complaint log to keep EVP of Operations up to date on all incidents * Work directly with Director of Restaurant Openings to ensure all deadlines are being met using proactive project management skills * Manage the Critical Path Calendar for new openings. * Enter all Pre-Opening expense into Cap Track Budget Tracking * Manage budget items in Cap Track for the Pre-Opening process, and ensure that all expenses are coded to the correct line item that each department submits * Analyze a new restaurants consumable office supply needs and manages the Staples rep to ensure a Staples order for the new restaurant is completed * Manage, authorize, and coordinate travel arrangements for New Mgmt Team and Trainers * Coordinate, authorize and supervise lodging/housing for New Mgmt. Team, Opening Team and Trainers * Complete credit applications and set up new vendors * Prepare and process necessary payroll paperwork to ensure that all employees are being charged to the correct location during the training process * Administrate all expense reports for trainers and training team
Required Skills:
* Highly organized * Excellent communicator, and * Possess creative and analytical skills * Must act with independent judgement and decision-making authority to ensure all responsibilities are accomplished * Experienced in MS Office Suite * Working knowledge of restaurant POS systems
Required Experience:
* 3+ years of experience as corporate Operations Administrator or Coordinator for a multi-unit restaurant chain, hospitality related chain or retailer * Experience in the upscale casual and/or fine dining segment desired * High School graduate or equivalent * BA/BS Degree desirable
