WET? is the company behind the Fountains of the Bellagio in Las Vegas, as well as, hundreds of other features around the world. We are currently seeking a science laboratory technician to join our diverse company!
The laboratory technician's responsibilities include general maintenance of the labs, inventory tracking and setup/takedown of laboratory equipment. In addition the laboratory technician will conduct sampling, testing, measuring, recording and analysis of results in tests in a variety of fields including chemistry, optics and electronics. The technician must be aware of, and follow, all laboratory health and safety guidelines.
The science laboratory technician will carry out fundamental tests as part of a scientific and engineering team. These tests will assist both R & D and product engineering activities.
Important Duties
? Carry out laboratory tests to produce reliable data. Record data in a clear, concise and
organized fashion.
? Construct, maintain and operate laboratory equipment.
? Ensure that the laboratory is well stocked and orderly at all times.
? Keep up to date with technological developments related to the lab's activities.
The Successful Technician Will:
? Have a Bachelors Degree in Physics
? Be able to work to precise standards and follow strict methodologies
? Have work experience in either a professional or educational/research laboratory
environment
? Follow strict safety procedures and be prepared to pass safety checks at all times
