Job Description
We're looking for a dynamic & experienced individual to take on the role of Prepress & Digital Press Operator. You'll be in a fast paced environment where a positive attitude and attention to detail are keys to success. We need someone who is extremely knowledgeable and capable, but is also disciplined, hard working, and able to multi-task efficiently. Most importantly, we are looking for a TEAM PLAYER.
Responsibilities Include
- Setting up customer files for digital, offset, screen printing & large format
- Running the color & b/w Konica digital presses
- Separating colors and outputting film for silk screen printing?
- File manipulation (adding bleeds, resizing, color correction, fixing font issues, etc.)
- Responsible for color accuracy and overall quality?
- Communicating with customer service reps on all print/design issues and resolutions in a timely manner
- Working with outside vendors
- Assist with managing order shipments
Qualifications
- Patient & friendly with a positive "team" attitude?
- Super organized & detail oriented
- Very knowledgeable in Adobe Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat
- Experienced in Mac & PC work environments?
- Experienced with various RIP software such as Harlequin, Fiery and Best Color
- Experienced with Imposition, Plate making, & Variable Data
- Must be able to manage and execute multiple jobs well under pressure and ALWAYS maintain a professional demeanor
- Teachable & flexible?
- PROFICIENT in Microsoft Office
- 2 years minimum of prepress experience
- Knowledge of large format printing a plus
- Knowledge of screen printing a plus
- Industry certifications a plus
- Must be a U.S. Legal Resident
This position will report directly to the general manager. ?
Position will include paid training.
This is a full time Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm immediate hire position.
Salary will be based on experience. Benefits include vacation & holiday pay, medical, dental & vision.
