Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
Provide direction, counseling and hands-on support as needed to store leadership on Human Resources specific issues problems such as employee relations, harassment, disciplinary counseling, Human Resources compliance, etc. Maintain knowledge of current Human Resources and benefit trends, employment laws, governmental compliance and Company policies. Track key information maintain reports pertaining to: store census, turnover trends, compensation data and employee relations issues. Perform activities to evaluate staffing needs, hire or reallocate resources including interviewing candidates, selecting candidates to proceed through the hiring process, facilitating the background check process, and extending offers. Manage and direct the on-boarding process including coordination of training for new employees. Ensure implementation of all training and development materials, tools, sessions and programs. Possibly supervise 1-3 direct reports that assist with Administrative Job Responsibilities Activities. Preference will be given to candidates with 5 years of progressive Human Resources Generalist Experience with an emphasis on employee relations and staffing. Other Responsibilities: Provide support and guidance to store leadership with regard to succession Planning. Manage the in-store performance review process and drive timelines for completion of assessments and Delivery to employees. Provide support for store leadership development.
