H.R. Manager
Role Description

Summary of Role
The H.R. Manager provides HR leadership for a geographical region. The position is focused on building people capability and driving and executing key Human Resources (HR) initiatives and programs throughout the Company. As an H.R. Manager you will report directly to the CEO and partner with the Director of Operations to leverage HR as a competitive business advantage. The position closely partners with the Field Training Leader as well.

Key Responsibilities (what H.R. Managers do)
? Step change the strategy and execution of selecting, developing and retaining high-potential Operations talent
. Lead succession/bench planning at the Restaurant, Area, and Company level
. Assess and address emerging training and development needs in the Company as well as validating the quality of the Restaurants
. Coach/train on use of retention tools, internal promotion process, external sourcing, selection, offer negotiation, relocation, and on-boarding
? Build high performance culture
. Lead the change in mindset from "A" to "B" thinking
. Support the fields implementation of HR
? Provide partnership to Company Leaders on strategic issues
. Partner with Director of Operations to drive key business and HR initiatives within the Company
. Lead strategy execution to drive performance on HR measures for the Company (i.e. turnover, stability, retention)
? Manage tactical HR issues
. Oversee performance management and individual development planning processes within the Company
. Coach on employee relations issues and get involved as needed
. Support HR processes including benefit enrollment, employee recognition programs/events and compliance policies/practices
. Execute performance and disciplinary management process

Requirements:
? 3 to 5 years HR Generalist experience in a multi-site, field-based organization (e.g. retail, hospitality or restaurant).
? Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
? Very Strong planning, organization and time management skills.
? Proven ability to handle challenges in a fast pace field-based environment with complex and multiple tasks and deadlines.
? Facilitation, team building, and influence skills a must.
? BS/BA required. Master's Degree and Professional SHRM Certification is a plus.
