Very busy, established catering company seeks full-time sous chef.

Responsibilities include:

*Overseeing and executing prep and cooking of daily catering menus in a timely manner

*Supervising prep cooks and maintaining high quality standards

*Assisting chef in inventory, ordering and staff scheduling

*Working with kitchen management to develop and alter seasonal menus

*Assisting with the hiring, training, evaluation and discipline of kitchen staff

*Maintaining a positive, safe and clean kitchen

*Ensuring consistency, portioning & freshness of all food

*Report to the chef and owners of the company

Must:

*Read and speak English.

*Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar culinary position.

*Be passionate about food and have the desire to continuously grow and learn and excel in a company with many opportunities for further growth.

*Have great energy and natural ability to lead and motivate a team

*Be able to multitask and delegate responsibilities

?*Be available to work early mornings and weekends

*Be accommodating of last minute changes and additions

*Be a dynamic problem solver, team player and make a positive contribution to the work place

*Have basic computer skills, MAC preferred. Must be able to send/receive emails and texts.

*Have valid ServSafe Certification.
