We are currently seeking a Part Time Registered Dietitian to deliver our Plus One Nutrition Programs at a client in the Los Angeles area.
A Registered Dietitian (RD) at Plus One is considered part of the Wellness Department and therefore may provide additional services including but not limited to: conduct programs of varying lengths (4, 6, or 10+ weeks); provide one-on-one and group nutrition counseling; provide one-hour lectures or webinars; provide newsletter information, articles and/or quick facts as needed. The RD may also participate in health fairs, assist with cafeteria integration, and may assist with other health and wellness initiatives at the site level.
A bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field is required, preferred Master's degree in Nutrition or a related field. Current professional certification or licensure such as Registered Dietitian or Licensed Dietitian (in states where licensure is applicable) is required. Must have a current AED/CPR certification, and knowledge of dietetic and nutrition standards and guidelines. At least 2 years experience as a dietitian, preferred 5 years. Demonstration of communication and service oriented skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Food Processor Software preferred.
