SEEKING CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATOR

Contracting company located in Los Angeles (Eagle Rock area) seeks hardworking, organized individual. This is a full time, long term, permanent position. The office staff currently consists of 4 full time employees and we would like to hire someone who could commit to working with us for years to come. We are looking for an Administrative Assistant who has strong interpersonal skills, is highly organized, detail oriented, and is self-motivated. The preferred candidate should be able to work both independently and as a member of a team.

Job duties Include but are not limited to:
-Assist production management department
-Act as a central point of contact for subcontractors & suppliers
-Maintain project files
-Type proposals and change orders
-Preliminary Notice Information
-Answer & direct phone calls.

Minimum Qualifications:
-Must be committed to working daily, M-F 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
-Experience using Microsoft Office specifically Word and Excel.
-Must type approx. 50 wpm
-4+ years experience in an office setting.
-GED or equivalent.
-Willingness to learn.
-Attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree in Field
-Bilingual (English/Spanish)
-Internet research experience/website design.
-Strong communication/writing skills.
-Experience in the construction business.

Compensation: $16-$20/hr DOE. Advancement opportunities are available.
