JOB DESCRIPTION:
-Responsible for the installation of all types of fire sprinkler systems.
-Must also perform underground fire service piping work.
-Must properly maintain daily work document
-Must adhere to all company safety policies and procedures to ensure all duties are performed in a safe and professional manner
-Supervise other pipe fitters if applying for Foreman position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Minimum 3 year pipe fitting experience directly in fire sprinkler industry only.
-Must have good knowledge with NFPA-13 code
-Experience in testing, service, and inspection is a plus.
-Valid driver's license with good driving record.
-Must be able to read blueprints
-Excellent communication skills.
-Self-starter who can work with little supervision
-Able to work night shift and perform long distance jobs when needed
-Friendly and have good people skill
-Must have good attitude to get difficult jobs done.
Character, capability, and experience are the qualities we are searching for and in that order of priority.
You need to be extremely organized and be able to work in a very fast paced environment.
