We're looking for a high energy "foodie" to be an integral part of an organic commercial baking company that is on a serious growth curve! We create organic brands and take them to market.

This sales representative must be creative, sharp, and quick to keep up with a fast-growing and dynamic environment. This is an entry level position; if you love food, have worked in a restaurant or retail environment, looking for a different experience, this might be for you!
We need a proactive, creative thinker to establish business strategies and solutions without any guidelines or precedents. Communication is crucial, as you will be working collaboratively with the Sales team and as a main point of contact with our clients and distributor partners.

Here's what you'll be doing:
? Fostering relationships! You're going to be responsible for managing existing and (perhaps even more important) developing new sales relationships at the customer, distributor and retail levels.
? Know our stuff! You're going to be a master of our brands with a clear understanding of category and brand management.
? Communication is key! You will provide clear, compelling and articulate explanations of our business value to prospective customers
? Stay on top of your business! You're going to need to keep up with evaluating market trends to assess and adjust accordingly, within a constantly changing business environment. Sell, sell, sell!

You've got to already have:
? At least three years experience within the restaurant or retail environment; relevant experience in the food industry a plus!
? The ability to establish a network with lead generation at industry trade shows and associations
? Current knowledge of food and beverage trends and latest restaurant 'hot spots' in your region
? Outstanding customer service skills
? The ability to effectively communicate and drive the sales process with our potential customers.
? At least a Bachelor's degree
? The ability to travel up to 50%, including participation in multiple channel trade shows
? Valid Driver's License and Vehicle

You've got to be:
? A 'Digital Citizen'. Completely comfortable using mobile technology, social media platforms, web-based project management tools/databases, and proficient working within Microsoft Office suites, such as Word, Excel and Power Point. Experience with Mac a plus.
? Eager and hungry to learn the business, set up systems/processes, and to master details and see the "big picture"
? An innovative and creative thinker with awesome listening skills
? Highly organized and resourceful, with a keen eye for details
? An excellent communicator, with the ability to anticipate potential problems and issues, and to communicate effectively to address them
