As part of the research department, you must be able to multi-task while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and organization. You must love learning new things and mastering new processes & programs quickly. You'll learn something new each and every day and will have incredible potential for advancement. Some of the responsibilities include:
- Internet research management
- Generating research lists
- Generating Reports
- Database Cross checking
- Learning to manage part of our outsourced team.
- Running proprietary research programs

Requirements:
- Super- fast and efficient with a PC, Internet, Excel (some Microsoft Access preferred but not essential)
- Excellent communication skills (reading, writing and well spoken)
- Extremely dependable.
- Attention to detail.
- Some college preferred but not essential, recent college grads or career changers are welcome to apply.

- Extra consideration given to candidates who are fluent in other languages but not essential. (Chinese, Portuguese, German, Spanish, etc)

The Web Developer works with a creative team to create a website using a solution that works best for the client and makes most use the developer's skills. The Web Developer also advises the nonprofit client on installation, maintenance and security tasks.

A successful pro bono Web Developer:
? Has 3+ years of experience creating front-end websites
? Has extensive experience in many of the following: Dreamweaver, Drupal, Wordpress, Joomla, HTML, PHP, Javascript, SQL and others
? Has experience with common design tools such as Photoshop
? Is flexible and willing to work within client constraints
* Experience with information architecture or user experience is a plus.

A Service Grant project is designed to work around your schedule and requires a 3-5 hour commitment each week over the course of approximately 6 months. You can also provide your expertise directly through our online forums--do some micro-bono in your spare time!
