Providence Clinical Research is seeking individuals with Type 2 Diabetes to participate in our Diabetes Research Program.

To qualify, your diabetes must be under fair control but needing additional treatment. You can be currently treated with no medications, one medication alone, or two medications. Participation involves regularly scheduled doctors office visits (at no cost to you), regularly measuring your blood sugar level and recording it in a diary for review by the doctor, taking your study medication according to the doctor's instructions, and promptly reporting any changes in your health condition.

During your participation, the following will be provided to you at no charge:

- all study-related doctor visits and physical exams,

- all study lab tests and ECGs

- diabetes education, diary and

- you will receive a glucometer and glucometer supplies.

Participants are compensated at each visit, usually $50.00 dollars at each completed office visit up to a total of $500.00 - $1050.00 depending upon the study you qualify for. One study coordinator will be assigned to you and will track your progress in the study. You will be fully informed about all aspects of the study and will have access to copies of all of your exams, lab results and ECGs for your own files or to discuss with your personal doctor. You will have 24/7/365 cell phone access to our study doctors for any questions or concerns.
