? prev ? next ? MLC+ is an after school program for students in grades 1 through 12. At MLC+, we truly care about a child's education and believe communication between parents and teachers is key to a child's success.

We are currently looking to hire (1) after school teacher that's capable of taking over a class with students ranging from 1st to 5th grade. This position is a perfect fit for credentialed teachers, graduates, or college students looking to make a difference.

Job Responsibilities:
* Work Hours: Monday-Friday 3-6 pm
* Primary: Provide homework help, check for corrections and ensuring assignments are completed.
* Secondary: Assemble and teach additional enrichment packets to keep students productive.
* Foster positive, encouraging, and nurturing learning environment for students to succeed.
* Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress with periodic progress reports.
* Maintain classroom decorum and student discipline.
* Supervise children during recess.

Requirements to Apply:
* College student majoring in Education, English, Math, or Science (unofficial transcripts required).
* Applicants with BS/BA in English, Math, or Educator's Credential highly preferred (verifiable).
* Classroom/or tutoring experience working 1 on 1 and small group settings highly preferred.
* Being able to multitask and thrive in a fast paced environment.
* Must be patient, authoritative, detail oriented and able to command a classroom.
