Role overview:
We are seeking an energetic, detail oriented and hard working individual to support the investment team in an administrative assistant capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, be able to balance a variety of tasks and take great pride in their work. The role will primarily be focused on administrative support for the investing team with some additional office manager duties as described below.

Main Function/Responsibilities:
? Answering phones, prioritizing mail, filing
? Maintaining and updating appointment calendar
? Organizing domestic and international travel arrangements and itineraries for multiple travelers
? Processing expense reports
? Composing and typing routine memos, emails and meeting minutes
? Ordering office supplies
? Coordinating with building management to maintain the office suite
? Undertaking project and database work
? Planning team social events
? Exercising good judgment on all matters
? Recommend improvements to office procedures or administrative processes to improve efficiency and/or to provide a cost-savings to the firm

Basic Qualifications:
? Experience in an administrative assistant capacity
? Proficient in MS Office, specifically Microsoft Outlook and Excel
? Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with others with diplomacy and discretion
? Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines--someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment
? Willing to take ownership of tasks and accountability for their completion
? Ability to prioritize and manage multiple/conflicting work priorities without getting flustered
? Excellent attention to detail
? Customer service attitude

he primary function of a Senior Systems Engineer is to individually perform the production tasks necessary to maintain and enhance Tactara's overall IT infrastructure. The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for the support of the company's core systems and services. Working closely with peers in IT, business stakeholders, and the Manager of Infrastructure Engineering, the Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for executing the installation and operation of the company's core technology.

Responsibilities:
Install new and rebuild existing servers; configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with project standards and operational requirements

Work closely with the Manager of Infrastructure to research and recommend innovative, and where possible, automated approaches for system administration tasks

Responsible for maintaining data center and network infrastructure at multiple sites and will periodically report to the Manager of Infrastructure on project status and issues blocking performance or service delivery

Contribute to and maintain procedures and policies for IT Infrastructure Management

Provide systems integration expertise to monitor effectiveness of business systems and processes

Respond to alerts from monitoring system, troubleshoot and resolve or escalate issues as appropriate

Present to management recommendations related to purchasing and installing hardware, software, and telecommunication equipment

Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure and/or add new services as necessary.

Available as needed for 24x7 on-call support for the company's production systems

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
A thorough understanding of the operational and troubleshooting aspects of Linux

An intermediate understanding of the internals of Linux, including major kernel components

Demonstrated proficiency in PHP and other scripting languages

Experience deploying and supporting Apache

Intermediate experience with MySQL including query analysis

Demonstrated success working directly with internal customers and meeting their requirements

Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to communicate with and present to non-technical individuals

Strong execution skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure

Ability to deal with ambiguity and multiple priorities

Solid troubleshooting capabilities with a focus on knowing when to escalate for help

A passion for technology and a drive to keep up with ever-changing technologies in the industry

Ability to think tactically and strategically in technical and business discussions

High School degree, preferably with Computer Science related classes. Direct industry experience is highly preferred.

5+ years business or IT experience is required

Previous experience in an internal support role handling face-to-face interactions with colleagues and customers
