HOSPITALITY - STAFF POSITIONS in VENICE BEACH HOSTEL ** HOSPITALITY JOBS AVAILABLE **

(1) Residential staff positions are available at Venice Beach
for the spring season in hostel .

(2) also a -- MURALIST / SCULPTOR / THEMED ROOM CREATOR (residential)

(3) also an outside OFFICE WORKER - QB & Excel (non-residential )

(1) RESIDENTIAL STAFF POSITIONS

If you have experience in:
* HOSTELS customer service
* TRAVEL / GUIDE customer service
* HOSPITALITY customer service

And, If you have Something More - Special Talents : in ACTIVITIES
* to share with Backpackers
* to teach Backpackers
* to complement their desire for BEACH LIFE -- at Venice Beach
* like can lead them -- give them a beginner 's workout - in Yoga & Tai Chi
* like can lead them -- give them a beginner's workout - in surfing & skating
* like sing & play music -- give a 'hoot'.

RESIDENTIAL STAFF POSITION
live-in
Generally 32 hours.
General hostel work at Venice Beach.
VBH offers you a place to stay and a place to work.
intern first; then season commitment
So, if you need BOTH work and a place to stay , then:
WORK & LIVE on VENICE BEACH !

_-or- VOLUNTEER your TALENT
Volunteer -
Share your yoga, tai chi, surfing, skating, singing, music etc. talents once/twice a week or so on the beach
& get a sleep-over from VBH
& then you also get a way to enjoy Venice Beach.

(2) MURALIST / SCULPTOR / THEMED ROOM CREATOR STAFF POSITION

If you have experience:
Rooms are to be themed: construction / constructivist skills
Murals for interior

Work is in Venice .
You must be local (or have work/school in or near Venice). No long drives -- work shifts are short.

GOOD ENGLISH SKILLS - e.g., very clear English writing skills .
Illustrative tasks - revising and writing forms & instructions.
GUEST tasks - correspondence forms, etc.

Other Work activities include, e.g.:
filing; organizing;
reviewing paperwork, email , etc.

PART-TIME -- approx. 7 - 15 hours.
Want someone working other part time job -- or -- student -- but only with a flexible schedule.
Work is variable times through week; short shifts (~3 hr) and flexible hours - but generally late morning or afternoons.

casual work environment @ beach.
THERE IS NO NIGHT WORK ONLY; NO WEEKEND WORK ONLY.
