Hours: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m

Rate: $9. The Factory is looking to grow it's brand and we need solid, motivated and
driven individuals who can see the big picture and are clever enough to use this opportunity to build the position of their dreams. The sky is really the limit and free flow of ideas is what keeps this business one of the most successful in Long Beach.

Age: Must be 21+ I don't care if you are 21 or 85 . . . just as long as you can enhance
business productivity and free up my time to focus on business growth.

Negative: If you are not PASSIONATE about Craft Beer and Craft Wine . . . you will not
last more than 2 minutes in the interview. Beer Server Certification is a
requirement. Certification can be completed with in 30 days from hire date.

Location: Owners Home/The Factory Gastrobar/The Factory Garden/Community Gardens

Education: Restaurant & Hotel Management, Advertising, Public Relations, Event Planner.
This person needs to understands the nuts and bolts of running a business while ensuring that ownership is focused and on track in completing the day to day duties.

This is a list of some of the many tasks associated with this position:

1. Maintaining daily Schedule: deadlines, meetings, events
2. Office Organization
3. Review Daily Restaurant Task Sheets
4. Maintaining Beer & Wine Notes / Inventory
5. Upkeep of Company Handbook
6. Upkeep of Service Handbook
7. Upkeep Employee Files
8. Ensuring that the restaurant is in compliance with the health department, fire department, etc.
9. Assist in the Upkeep of Kitchen Recipe and Photo Demo Manual
10. Assist in Payroll: tip calculation and distribution, ADP
11. Organization of Receipts & Bills to be deliver bi-weekly to the restaurant accountant
12. Event Assistance / Execution
14. Prioritizing E-Mails and Phone Calls to ensure all communication is handled properly and processionally
15. Find solutions to problems not excuses
16. Manage reservation requests
15. Create a Media Scrap Book that will details great proof reader to check my work ... I'm a super bad speller)
17. Social Media
a. Keeping daily FB post enticing, engaging, noteworthy and interesting.
b. Implement Instagram, Twitter and other social media outlets to our benefit
c. Gathering customer e-mails
d. Entering those e-mails into our datebase for Constant Contact, etc.
e. Manage Yelp, Chowhound, TripAdvisor, Urbanspoon and food blogs to favorably
position our restaurant while growing customers through these sites.
18. MAC Computer
a. YOU MUST BE A MAC professant . . .. No exceptons!!!!
b. Photoshop professant a bonus!
b. Help in organizing computer desktop, files, icloud, backup, contacts, calendar,
reminders, time machine, etc.
19. Event Planing -- we host several dozen events a year. Some are small like "Meet the Brewer"
dinners and others are huge like our Drink Good Beer Fest on September 14th that will entertain
500 guests not counting brewers, volunteers, security and Factory staff.
a. Events need to be advertised trough social media
b. Door-to-Door postcard distribution
c. Visiting all the local breweries / craft beer stores to drop off POS for upcoming events
d. Street Team: targeting heavy traffic areas to pass out POS and entice potential customers to
attend our events
