California Neuroscience Research is conducting a research study of an investigational medication when taken at the same time as a prescribed antidepressant for subjects with Major Depression. If you are between 18 and 65 years old, in good health and experiencing symptoms of depression you may qualify.

Major Depression is characterized by sadness or loss of pleasure, as well as other symptoms including:

¦ decreased concentration
¦ hopelessness, worthlessness, or excessive guilt
¦ fatigue or loss of energy
¦ change in appetite or weight
¦ difficulty sleeping or excessive sleeping

If you exhibit symptoms of Major Depression you may qualify for:

¦ study-related evaluation by a Board-Certified Psychiatrist
¦ study-related exams and laboratory evaluation
¦ no cost for study medications
¦ you may also receive reimbursement for time and travel

All study-related services are at no cost. Certain medications and certain conditions (e.g. substance or alcohol abuse, ADHD and Bipolar disorders) are excluded.
