Marketing/PR Paid Job for Documentary Film (Santa Monica)

We're looking to hire a bright and personable individual with previous online marketing experience who can handle all sides of the Marketing Campaign for the release of a sports related feature documentary. The job is approximately for 6 months and starts immediately (August-February.) Salary range is negotiable based on experience.

Desired Skills & Experience

? College degree (preferably in Marketing, Communications or PR)

? Prefer 1-3+ years of work experience in online marketing, social media (Twitter, Facebook, Google+, etc.)

? Proficient in writing and editing marketing materials; newsletters, blogs, as well as handling website content and design.

? Email marketing for growing client fanbase

? Must be a go-getter, who isn't afraid to do what it takes to promote the film creatively and effectively -- such as assist in raising awareness of the films release with cold calls to fans, clients, businesses, and the press to help promote the film. As well as follow up with Sponsorship opportunities as they come in.

? Bonus: there is also a great opportunity to extend the job an extra month with pay to help organize and coordinate the film's World Premiere in Italy and in Los Angeles in March. To be discussed if interested.

This is a great opportunity for someone to build on their marketing portfolio for a theatrically released film, while getting paid.
